The logic of the new site has become more flexible and scalable to ensure painless growth of the service without the need for major improvements in the future.

Design System

In the old version of the site, each item had a separate product card, which made choosing different parameters for the same item very complicated. The product page has been redesigned to simplify the selection of the type of drink, its variety, volume, container and other parameters.

To avoid a possible conflict when expanding a store selling water into a full-fledged marketplace, including both water and related products, it was decided to abandon any associations with specific products, as was the case in the old logo.

The new color scheme is based on the most popular and best-selling drinks in the world.

The site was reimagined in order to correct the problems that had accumulated with the growth of the service.

Such task required the development of not just a style guide, but an entire library of styles and ready-made elements, allowing for creation of new blocks, designs and pages without the fear of compromising the integrity of the entire interface.

Also, the store sought to expand into a full-fledged marketplace, for which it was necessary to think over a new design with the expectation of growing the assortment and expanding the toolkit.

Instead, a new concept was proposed — to associate the brand with one of the most noticeable properties of any liquid — the refraction of light, creating a distortion that is easily recognizable to a person of almost any age. Thus a new, distorted, logo was born.

The store’s website, at the time the problem was set, was hopelessly outdated and needed updating. Apart from the old logo, there was no visual identity for the brand. It was decided to start from scratch and introduce a new concept.

Global beverage brands have been creating a colorful palette for years, trying to distinguish themselves and differentiate their products from competitors. The largest ones were taken and combined by popularity.

New colour palette

With the growth and development of the store, there was an urgent need to develop a consistant and convenient design system that would allow painless scaling from a single store to a full-fledged marketplace.

Main objective

The interface has been simplified, while maintaining the necessary functionality. Unified promotional blocks were added, instead of old banners (which were previously ordered from different freelancers, which is why they looked completely different and ruined the aesthetics of the site), a simpler and more thoughtful search was introduced, a broken catalog was fixed, and much more.

The concept of an online store specializing in the sale of water, drinks and related products such as snacks, coffee machines, coolers and more. The main task was to freshen up the outdated and frankly broken design and allow the store to grow.
